MEET YOUR ELECTED BOARD MEMBERS:
Marla Wade was re-elected for another term of 2 years - Expires 2025 - Her bio is below:
It has been an honor to represent the homeowners of Greenwood Forest as a member of the Homeowner’s Association (HOA) board for the past 3 years. I have served on the board in the capacity of Secretary and Vice President-Deed Restrictions and currently as Vice President-Security.
My 25 years of experience as a multi-family property manager have prepared me to be a hard-working team player on the Greenwood Forest HOA board. As a property manager, I have considerable experience in working with people from diverse backgrounds, resolving conflicts, and implementing change. Preparing annual budgets and monthly financial reports and operating within budget is the most important responsibility in property management. This knowledge and experience is vital for an HOA board member to have to provide oversight of the association’s finances. My property management background has provided extensive experience in financial management, personnel management, and asset management.
It is important for board members to listen to the concerns of our homeowners and to always treat others with respect. If you elect me to continue serving as a board member, I will always listen to your concerns and suggestions and be respectful - even in disagreement. I promise to continue to work hard to keep Greenwood Forest a great place to live, work, and play.
Nathan Burcham was elected for a term of 2 years - Expires 2025 - his bio is below.
Nathan Burcham, a Houston native, moved to Greenwood Forest with his wife and children in 2017 and has been an active member of the GWF community. Nathan has worked as an oil and gas equipment design engineer for Baker Hughes the past 12 years leading design engineering projects in addition to collaborating with departments outside of engineering such as sales, sourcing, manufacturing, services, and project management. Nathans career experience has given him a unique and sharpened skill set that makes him well suited to serve the Greenwood Forest residents as an HOA board member. Nathan earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University in 2005.
